KNOW WHAT’S IN YOUR BOTTLE

CBD & THC Potency Calculator

Make sense of the numbers on your label. Calculate cannabinoid content per millilitre, serving and drop.

Your bottle

Enter the amount of the selected cannabinoid, rather than the total weight of the oil or extract.

Enter either drops per ml or total drops in the bottle. For example, 185 drops in a 10 ml bottle means 18.5 drops per ml and about 0.054 ml per drop. Use a count measured or supplied for your own bottle and dropper.

How the calculation works

Milligrams per ml = total cannabinoid milligrams ÷ bottle volume. Milligrams per serving = milligrams per ml × serving volume. Milligrams per drop = milligrams per ml ÷ your drops-per-ml figure. If you enter total drops in the bottle, drops per ml = total drops ÷ bottle volume, and ml per drop = bottle volume ÷ total drops.

For a label explicitly stating % w/v (grams per 100 ml), 1% equals 10 mg/ml. A % w/w label needs product density and cannot be converted with this calculator. A percentage without a stated basis should be confirmed with the supplier.

This tool calculates label quantities; it does not select a dose or predict effects. Results depend on the accuracy of your label and measurements.
